It's Back! The ninth annual PEEP Drive By Photo Contest
begins on Saturday, June 12. Everybody uses the same camera -
a Kodak 27 exposure single use camera with a flash. You may
pick up your camera at the PEEP meeting at the Chamizal on Saturday,
June 12 at 10:00 am. PEEP will be giving a seminar on getting
great photos from a single use camera. You may also pick up
your camera at Jim's Photo Lab starting Saturday, June 12.
Jim's Photo Lab is open from 10 to 4 on Saturday. Cameras may
also be picked up the following Monday through Saturday (June 13 to
19) at Jim's - the hours Monday through Friday are 9 to 6. And
for early birds, if you ask real nice, we will let you pick up your
camera on Friday afternoon on June 11.
Then the fun begins - the rules are simple, take your favorite
photos from either inside of your car or you may step out of your
car for better composition. But if you step out, you are
supposed to be within five feet of your car when you take your
photographs.
Complete rules are available at Jim's Photo Lab and will be
distributed with each camera. You can also download them by clicking here. Tips on using a
single use camera can be downloaded by clicking
here.
Watch this page daily for fun and frivolous updates.
Tomorrow we will show you what goes on at Jim's Photo Lab in the
weeks and days leading up to the Drive By Photo Contest - it is a
lot more work than you would think!
And this year we have dedicated an e-mail address for questions
about the Drive By Photo Contest. Send an e-mail to DriveByPhoto@aol.com - we will be checking
twice a day. We will reply to you and probably add your
question and our answer to the FAQ page for the 2004 Dive By Photo
Contest.
The Drive By Photo Contest is sponsored by:

Here is a map to Ardovino's Desert Crossing - BUT THE RED STAR IS
IN THE WRONG PLACE - Ardovino's is at the other end of Ardovino
